Big brake Mod on old ATE forks. It works!

I posted this on the Adventure Rider forum but thought some of the creative builders on this sight would get a kick out of my work.
WARNING! this may not be for the purists.

Purists?

Luckily we don't have a lot of purists around here at Boxerworks. In fact I can't even think of one. We do have folks who enjoy a stock airhead, and that is fine. Hell, I would love to have a R90S just the way it came from the factory. But the airheads I do have, aren't pure. I think adapting a stock bike to your needs/predilections is just fine. So is a bone stock concours airhead.

This is one thing I really like about Boxerworks and the people who hang out here.

I've owned this bike since 1990. It was pretty beat up when got it, even though it was only 15 then.
We've had a lot of adventures together, and I know how to find and fix whatever comes up.
Looking at her is like looking through the family album.
Only thing is, she just gets better and better.
My riding skills have gotten better and better.
This is the only bike I own. I should, logically, buy another bike that suits my needs.
Logic goes out the window when this bike is concerned

That's awesome! And probably the Airhead I'd most want to ride (besides my own) up and down the Mount Baker road.
Call me Mel. Some years ago- never mind how long precisely- having little or no money in my purse, and nothing particular to interest me at home, I thought I would ride about a little and see the other parts of the world.
