Re: S fairing mounting

Thanks again for the inputs. I ended up having to buy the fork top brackets- but they were in BMW packaging !! Not too bad considering the time cost in making a pair. Cheap from Motoworks too. Now have the (small) problem of the large washers which sit under the fork nuts. Have looked in the parts b...

Re: S fairing mounting

Thanks Tim, I had looked at the parts book. I'm not in the US and have found business freight from there a bit frightening. But I appear to have solved my problem

S fairing mounting

Hello Finally getting around to mounting the genuine fairing onto my '76 R100S. It had a pattern one fitted. Am missing all the mounting brackets and have a couple of questions. Shackle 31421240651. Does this mount under the fork top nut ? Is it flat, and what is the purpose of the small extension o...

Hi Steve
Sorry Steve I tend towards AJS, Matchless and Vincent. The best would be to ask on the prewar Triumph Yahoo group

It had dropped a circlip and stuffed the barrel and piston. The RH head is very dodgy also. The Cosmic Spar...
