Hi Joan, I just got back on the site here after being away for a while. I am absolutely thrilled that you have your dream bike now. And I get the impression that you are doing some nice 'iron-butting' on it.
After my next trip back to Oklahoma that 82 R100RS will be back in Boise, from where you drove it to Big Cedar, Oklahoma. 2 days and over 1,600 miles! I was then and remain impressed!
I'm out of commission for a while having had one cataract operation which had to have a re-do. One more eye to go.
It sure is bright outside and the sky is sure blue! It will be a while but "Bigger" is fairly shouting at me to go for a ride and my '77S bike is pouting in the Den.
Ken

My partner and I have just passed the 18,000 mark - that is, we have bottled 18k 'stubbies' (Oz 350ml bottles). Naturally we have no idea where they have all gone.
Joan?

No, I'm lazy. I use commercial mixes from Australia's best brewing company - Coopers. Perhaps one day I'll get into grains but for now I like the very predictable results i'm getting.

Re: Hi fellas
Partial grain? I've never been brave enough to try all grain myself, but I've made 5 gallon batches that had as much as 4 lbs of grain along with the malt syrup. I don't know how much starch I'm managing to convert to sugar in that grain, but it certainly has a tremendous impact on flavor.Airbear wrote:G'day Bobby.Bobby wrote:Is that all grain brweing Airbear?

Ha, excellent. I recall the photo now and have made the connection. That is a thing of beauty. And practicality, of course. Perhaps I should venture into keg brewing.
Nah, too lazy.

Ah, but bottling is such a time-consuming and messy process that I see keg brewing as the lazy answer.Airbear wrote:Ha, excellent. I recall the photo now and have made the connection. That is a thing of beauty. And practicality, of course. Perhaps I should venture into keg brewing.

Rob, I use a non-public gallery to host all my images. Done so since the early days of the Boxerworks Forum Rally threads....Rob wrote:Thanks Randy!
