Greetings Painter, glad to see you've arrived on these 'ere hallowed pages, and bearing a mystery to boot (if indeed that is what one does with a mystery).
What makes a perfectly good plug go bad ?
Is it environmental, societal, or a bit of metal swarf clogging the contacts?
A fragment of piston ring quelling the essential fire?
Sounds like you're savvy enough to have gazed at the offending gap, so I'm assuming any foreign object would have been spotted. That makes it difficult.
So how are the legshields ?

Bin called many things ,a good spellr is jist not 1 Put new set of nkg,s in last night and went for a good hour putt. No problems. Guess I will not worry unless it happens again. Sunbeam , looked closely and saw no foreign debris. I am assuming that it just had a bad disposition. Love the leg shields. Can really appreciate them in the spring and fall here in eastern Pennsylvania. I also think they look pretty keen

Did some nice painting on them, too.
