Re: BMW has a better idea!

Re: How much oil on my boot is too much?

Re: Used parts prices going through the roof!

Used parts do hurt, like trying to find a decent Mono gas tank. The new parts get to me sometimes too, like the price of a "Euro" switch assembly when my original left side switches crapped out. Want to make yourself feel better? Get an old John Deere tractor. A simple control lever for th...

Re: ring and pinion 1986 r80

Have you backed off on the rear brake adjuster to see if it makes any difference? Pulled the wheel and looked at the brake parts and the "drum" which is part of the wheel? Also, when you spin the wheel, the driveshaft is turning too.

It had a big crack in it that was not new and had been running fine. I tripped over a deal on the newest style factory coil, swapped them out and it fired ...

Dunno about all that, but my Chinese helmet thinks I'm a CrackHead...Nothing blew up, but I haven't looked at the thing closely. Yet. Maybe later.

A new rule for me.

Never, never look at this forum right before a road trip. It just incites the paranoia demon in my brain.
